The Metropolitan Wine and Food Society of Sydney Inc. is a non-profit society providing wine tastings, dinners and other functions for the enjoyment of good food and fine wine. The Society was officially incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1984 on 9 December 1991.

Membership of the Society is at the discretion of the Committee. There is an initial joining fee and an annual fee. New members purchase Cellar Debentures over a 12 month period.
