Membership

The Metropolitan Wine and Food Society Sydney was formed 49 years ago by a group of people who shared a common interest in learning about and enjoying wine and food in an environment which fostered friendships and dining opportunities often not available individually.​ 

Membership fees are as follows (current at March 2026):

• Initial joining fee: $50 per person
• Annual fee: $40 per person

New members are required to purchase Cellar Debentures over a 12 month period to ensure all members contribute equally to the Society Cellar. Debenture fee $75 per person (can be paid in 3 instalments of $25). As with most organisations ,membership is at the discretion of the Committee.
